EPCOT International Festival of the Arts
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts at Disney World is going on through February 21! We spent an evening exploring EPCOT, viewing art and sampling all of the Disney snacks during our trip. Want to see some of our favorites?
I was so happy when I realized our trip would coincide with the Festival of the Arts. I really loved the Festival of the Arts logo and theming around the park…I just wish there was more merch for it! We searched far and wide for t-shirts and mugs, but I’m guessing those have been sold out since the beginning.
EDIT: Just this weekend I read that mugs are now available in EPCOT!
See how the paint tube sculpture looks like it’s squeezed out those purple flowers? Brill!.
There is so much to see here that it’s virtually impossible to do it all. The chalk art is incredible, and I’ve never quite seen anything like this jaw-dropping 3D Groot! There are instructions for where to stand and how to pose for this photo. I took one of Penelope, but then insisted of getting one of me too. It’s just too special!
We made a stop at Pop Eats because the kids wanted some grilled cheese and tomato soup, and I was dying to try the Almond Frangipane Cake slice. Both were 10/10!
We didn’t get much farther before we had to get some poutine from Refreshment Port. We shared the traditional poutine as well as the gnocchi poutine - complete with fried gnocchi, braised beef and burrata (insert mouth watering emoji stat!).
We always get the refillable souvenir popcorn bucket and you can get the $2.19 refill of maple popcorn in Canada! Woohoo! We loved this. I wish I knew how great it would be because I would have gotten another refill before we left.
Oh and there are handy little guidebooks to grab upon entrance to Epcot. This detailed all the fun things! And, it makes a great souvenir for our 2022 Disney time capsule.
Christine and I shared the colorful canvas cold brew, topped with whipped cream and Fruit Loops from Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company (near Canada). The whipped cream sort of sunk into the cold brew to add some creamy sweetness. This was super fun and a must-try, but I don’t think I’d be reaching for this on the reg.
This was the first time I actually made it all the way around the world! This shot is overlooking France. Unfortunately the lines were a little long for us to wait with the kids, so we zipped on through. Next time, the ice cream cone with macaron Mickey ears will be mine!
Had to stop for this fun photo op in Italy! They look like they are in a little diorama and it cracks me up every time I see it!
When your kids are old enough to take a decent photo of you, the next part of your life begins! Penelope snapped this one and tbh, her framing is on point.
I wish we had more time to eat and explore the countries in depth, but the way around the world over a few hours with 2 kids was just enough to put us over the edge for the day. We had a great time and I was so happy to see EPCOT all lit up! I can’t wait to go back for this someday!
What do you think? Would you visit an EPCOT festival, or have any plans to?
Did you like this article? If so, it would mean the world to me if you dropped a comment or shared it with a friend!
